2020 threw everyone for a loop to say the least. Through the course of the year, we saw the face of many job industries change. We also learned the role of a candidate has changed too. The application process and the jobs that are available may be different this year as a result of COVID-19.

  1. Digital Marketing Specialist - There is an obvious need to perfect the digital footprint. Because of the push into the virtual world, digital marketing specialists are in high demand right now. Consider applying to these jobs if you have experience with social media campaigns, graphic design, and marketing analytics! 

  2. Data Analyst - Data, Data, Data! Companies are interested in tracking their data with the hope of making savvy business decisions. Analysts are needed everywhere - marketing, sales, IT, finance and health. Experience with analysis software and prior experience handling big data will be important in 2021.

  3. HR Manager - There will continue to be a push towards employee mental health in 2021. Working from home took a major toll on the mental health of so many in 2020. In response to this, companies are taking upon themselves to provide employees with more wellness resources. As an HR Manager, you may see your job evolve to include a greater focus on employee wellness and mental health.
